Kotun Ƙolin Najeriya ta ƙara ɗage shari’a kan wa’adin tsofaffin kuɗi
Kotun ƙolin Najeriya ta ɗage sauraron ƙarar da wasu gwamnoni suka shigar suna ƙalubalantar wa’adin Babban Bankin Najeriya na amfani da tsofaffin kuɗi.
A yanzu kotun ta ce za ta ɗage sauraron ƙarar har sai ranar uku ga watan Maris, 2023.
Alƙalin kotun John Okoro, wanda ke shugabantar shari’ar ne ya bayyana sabuwar ranar da za a ci gaba da sauraron ƙarar bayan ji daga lauyoyin dukkanin ɓangarorin biyu.
Tun farko gwamnatin tarayya ta ayyana ranar 31 ga watan Janairun 2023 a matsayin ranar da za a daina amfani da tsofaffin takardun kuɗi na naira 1,000, da 500, da kuma 200.
Sai dai daga baya shugaban ƙasar Muhammadu Buhari ya amince da ƙara wa’adin zuwa 10 ga watan Fabarairu.
Amma duk da haka jihohin Kaduna da Zamfara da Kogi sun shigar da ƙarar a ranar uku ga watan Fabarairu suna ƙalubalantar wa’adin na gwamnatin tarayya.
Sannan a lokacin zaman kotun na ranar 15 ga watan Fabarairu, wasu jihohin ƙasar bakwai sun mara wa jihohi uku na farko baya wurin ƙalubalantar matakin na gwamnatin tarayya.
Inda a ranar takwas ga watan Fabarairu ne kotun ta dakatar da gwamnatin tarayya daga aiwatar da wa’adin amfani da tsofaffin takardun kuɗin.
