Hukumar kula da kare hakkin masu saya da sayarwa a Nijeriya FCCPC ta umarci kamfanin sigari na British American Tobacco (BAT) da ya biya tarar dala miliyan 110.
Hakan ya biyo bayan zargin take ka’idojin mamaye kasuwa da kuma keta a’idojin kiwon lafiyar al’umma, a cewar wata sanarwar da hukumar ta fitar a ranar Laraba.
Hukumar FCCPC ta bayyana cewa kamfanin sigari na Lucky Strike da Dunhill sun sanya hukunci kan dillalan da suka samar da dandalin kasuwanci daidai da abokan hamayyarsu na kasuwanci.
Mai magana da yawun kamfanin BAT Aaron Shardey, ya bayyana wa kamfanin dillancin labarai na Reuters rahoton rabin shekarar 2023 na Kamfanin, wanda ya tabbatar da binciken hukumar FCCPC da kuma hukuncin da ta yanke.
Fusata abokan hamayya na kasuwanci
Tarar dai ita ce mafi yawa da hukumar kula da kare hakkin mai saya da sayarwa a Nijeriya FCCPC ta taba sanyawa kan wani kamfani.
Shugaban hukumar Babatunde Irukera ya shaida wa kamfanin dillancin labarai na Reuters cewa tarar “sananniyar yarjejeniya ce”, wacce ta yi daidai da jan kunnen da ba za a iya daukaka kara ba.

FCCPC ta ce ta fara gudanar da bincike ne kan kamfanin BAT da kamfanonin da sauran kamfanonin da ke da alaƙa shi tun daga shekarar 2020 kuma ta sami umarni daga Kotun Tarayya kan ta gudanar bincike kan rukunin kamfanin BAT da dillalansu don samun shaidar da aka yi amfani da su wajen yanke wannan hukunci.

Hukumar ta bayyana cewa bayan gudanar da wasu karin bincike da nazarin shaidu da aka tattaro, an tabbatar da an keta dokokin saye da siyarwa masu yawa.
Hukumar ta FCCPC za ta sa ido kan kamfanin BAT na tsawon watanni 24 don tabbatar da ya kiyaye tare da gudanar da harkokin kasuwancinsa daidai da ka’idojin saye da siyarwa da kuma kokarin takaita shan taba sigari, in ji sanarwar.
“Sakamakon cika alkawuran da kamfanin BAT ya yi yarjejeniyar, hukumar ta yanke shawarar yin watsi da duk wasu tuhume-tuhume da ake yi wa BAT a Nijeriya,” in ji FCCPC.
