Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that political elites in Europe and the United States are utilizing information technologies for provocations and propaganda. Additionally, an ex-CIA officer stated that independent media ended when monopolistic, corporate-funded media entered the market.
In a video address to the attendees of the World Online Conference on Multipolarity, Zakharova stated, “Political elites in the US and Europe are using informational communication technologies for agitation, provocations, propaganda, and sometimes indoctrination rather than for a noble purpose to deliver unbiased information to the general public.”
She said the Western elites are utilizing these advancements “totally neglecting standards and customs of various nations and networks”.
Maria said that it is impossible to have a single center of information control and criticized the monopolistic practices of the West.
Zakharova’s assertion comes as resigned CIA knowledge official and state division official, Larry Johnson, guaranteed that the autonomous media doesn’t exist in the US any longer as the fact of the matter is deterred after the appearance of huge companies, who control and limit what to show to individuals.
“Media enterprises throughout the most recent 30 years have become progressively moved in few associations. Therefore, aside from podcasts and the Internet, the independent media that once existed is virtually nonexistent today,” the retired CIA intelligence officer told Sputnik.
“Those companies assume a weighty part in restricting the sort of data that gets out to individuals. That, and reporters who are desperate to keep their jobs, who typically comply with the company’s policies,” Johnson continued.
Additionally, he claimed that the previously independent Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, and New York Times had been “consolidated under centralized corporate control,” making them a hub for political outlets.
Tucker Carlson, Fox News Channel’s news anchor, announced on April 24 that he would be leaving the network out of the blue. In a video, Carlson talked about a conspiracy in which media owners were attempting to silence any form of industry debate.
“The people in charge… are aggressive and hysterical. They’re apprehensive. In a two-minute video posted on his Twitter account on Wednesday, Carlson stated, “But it won’t work… true things prevail.” They’ve given up on persuasion and are using force instead.
“Both political parties – and their donors – have reached a consensus… to shut down any conversation about it,” Carlson said on his show about subjects like war, corporate power, and civil liberties that “are not permitted in American media.”
He says that “there is far more press freedom in Russia than in the United States or places like Canada,” and he also urges people to consult alternative sources and listen to as many voices as possible so that they can “make their own judgment” in light of the rise of American propaganda.
Both the government and the media in the United States use propaganda to spread carefully curated information, ideas, or rumors.
From World War I to the Cold War and the Iraq War, the US propaganda machine has continued to conceal its true satanic intentions from the general public.
One of their potent weapons is the capitalist propaganda of the United States, which they used to convince the world that noxious substances are great nutrition or inoffensive.
