Research has shown that men and women who have potbellies have twice the mortality risk than people who are just overweight or obese. “Women with pot bellies too have 1.5 times the risk for death.” a report says.
Also, it is dangerous to have fat around your stomach because it can wrap itself around your vital organs. Excess fat can seep into your liver and become cholesterol which blocks your arteries and leads to heart attack or stroke.

Maybe you don’t have the time or money to go to the gym but you covet a flat tummy. This is how to get it;

Great metabolism and genes

This is the only way to have an effortlessly flat tummy. If not, you have to at least do something. Do you know someone who never exercises and eats whatever they want but still has a flat tummy? Some people are just divinely blessed with a flat belly that no matter what they eat, they never gain weight because their bodies burn fat twice as fast.

This is not a good way to lose weight or have a flat tummy but nothing can make you lose weight more than going through a stressful period like heartbreak. You just won’t want to eat anymore.

If you do not want to go to the gym, you have to eat right, no two ways about it.

Cut off snacks – the sugar and salt do your body no good. The goal is not to eliminate carbs from your diet because your body needs them but to eat fewer carbs. That would include a lot of fruits, vegetables, and meals like potatoes, and oatmeal. More fiber, less carbohydrate.

Forget carbonated drinks, drink herbal or green tea

Stay clear of carbonated drinks – including fruit juice. Alcohol has more calories than carbonated drinks. Herbal tea has caffeine and catechins which basically boosts your metabolism and helps your body burn fat.

Intermittent fasting

Drink a lot of water

Drinking water and minding your business might also be one of the best ways to have a flat tummy. Water fills you up and reduces the chances of being hungry all the time, it also boosts your metabolism.

Move around

Don’t eat food and rush to lay down, move around, take a lot of walks.
