Iran and the remaining participants in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), informally known as the Iran nuclear deal, are going to resume their talks on the possible return of the US to the deal on November 29.

Iran and the so-called 4+1 had six rounds of talks earlier this year, but the talks faced an over 5-month halt since the power transition taking place in Iran, resulting in the presidency of Ebrahim Raisi.

The JCPOA was signed in 2015 between Iran and 6 world powers, including the US. However, former President Donald Trump left the deal despite Iran’s full compliance with the deal.
