American media reported the death of little Madden Hein. He died on April 15, two days after falling from the third floor of the Club House Hotel & Suites in Sioux Falls.

Although the investigation is ongoing, everything points to a tragic accident. “We have no suspicion that anything else happened,” police officer, Sam Clemens, told local journalists.

He also added that witnesses with medical training “provided assistance to Madden before he was taken to the hospital.” A pulse was felt in the one-year-old boy, although he remained unconscious. Despite the doctors’ efforts, they could not save him.

Parents to donate baby’s organs

The Heins wrote on Facebook that it was “hard for them to process all this.” However, they decided their son’s organs would be donated.

“We know they will help many people. Our boy is a real superhero. We received so much love and support. We felt it from you.

We cannot explain how grateful we are for all your good thoughts and prayers. THANK YOU!” they wrote in a moving statement.

“We are asking for support for the Hein family during this difficult time. We will miss Madden very much.

He had two amazing, loving parents who are teachers, an older 3-year-old sister and a sibling on the way who will be born in August,” stated in the description of the online collection.
