What happens in Arbaeen?
Arbaeen is coming on the 20th of Safar. Billions of people from all over the world come to Arbaeen and walk 90 Kilometers from Najaf to Karbala. It takes 2 to 3 days to reach Karbala. On the way, there are thousands of camps for food, drinks, sleeping, medical services, etc.
Iraqi people serve the pilgrimage of Imam Hussain in the best way possible. In Arbaeen it’s rare to reach to shrine of Imam Hussain because there are millions of people who want to reach and touch the shrine

Many people come to Arbaeen even for missions like taking photos, videos, reporting, and even serving other people. People from foreign countries especially Iran serve the pilgrimage of Imam Hussain.
The solution to bad effects in Arbaeen
In Arbaeen there are many chances of getting lost. On every kilometer, there is a machine that can help you to find the person you were with. The other bad effect that can occur is if suddenly you get hurt or you feel pain in a part of your body and you don’t have anything to fix it.
In Arbaeen on every kilometer, there are clinics so you can go there to fix the pain or the hurt. By chance, if you can’t go to the clinic there are many doctors that are walking in Arbaeen. They can even help you.

The difference between today and long ago
At the time of Saddam Hussain people were not allowed to go to Karbala for Arbaeen and if they wanted to go they should cut their hand or leg to go. Because of this situation, very less people used to go to Arbaeen.
But at that time those people who were the real believers of Imam Hussain were even ready to cut their hand and leg to go to the shrine of Imam Hussain. But today the situation is not like this. People go with no changes in their bodies and come back in the same situation as they were in going to Karbala.
