Israel political scene devalues daily, overshadow with discrepancy

After many discrepancies in the ruling coalition of the Isreal regime, the structure of the opposition has also suffered several factions, and this time it accused Lieberman, Lapid, and Gantz of collaborating with Netanyahu.

In a situation where the internal atmosphere of Palestine is in the tensest possible situation and at the same time Israel has to deal with many foreign security challenges. There are many signs and scenarios indicating reinstating escalation of internal differences between parties and officials of this regime, especially the opposition parties.

Israel’s national radio and television network in its latest report announced that the differences between the opposition leaders of the ruling coalition have escalated.

Avigdor Lieberman, the leader of the Yisrael Beitenu party, in his most recent statement made last Saturday night, accused Lapid and Gantz of working hand in hand with Netanyahu to return Aryeh Darei to the Israeli cabinet.

According to Lieberman’s accusations, Yair Lapid and Benny Gantz, behind-the-scenes had an agreement with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, so that “Karin Al Harar”, a candidate supported by the opposition, would become a member of the Judges appointment Committee.

According to Lieberman, in this secret agreement, Aryeh Darei is supposed to return to his ministerial seat once again during the last election.

In this regard, the Hebrew-language newspaper “Ma’ariv” revealed in a detailed report that there were discrepancies between the opposition parties over the composition of the judges’ appointment committee members.

According to this media, following the lack of understanding regarding the representative of the opposition parties in the committee for the appointment of judges, the leaders of the opposition exchanged criticisms and accusations against each other, and the lack of coming to an agreement has intensified the internal differences in the opposition faction.

In this regard, Yair Lapid, the former Prime Minister of Israel and head of the Yesh Atid party, called for the support of Karin al-Harar as the opposition candidate in the committee for the appointment of judges, announced that several factions in the opposition are in favor of this issue. The cabinet coalition is a gift to Israel’s Justice Minister Yario Levin.

On the other hand, Benny Gantz, Israel’s former  army general and one of the leaders of the opposition faction of this regime, also said: “If the coalition of the two candidates has been decided by the committee for the appointment of judges, I will immediately stop the negotiations on the judicial reform plan.”

In this regard, several members of the Knesset, Israel’s parliament affiliated with Bani Gantz, criticized Yair Lapid’s statements and said: Lapid’s statements are in line with his personal goals and to cause disunity of the opposition and instead to be a reward for the cabinet coalition.

In the continuation of his statement, Maariu wrote that in the midst of differences in the opposition parties, in addition to Lapid, the Labor Party headed by “Mirav Mikhaili” and the Gantz coalition have also proposed another candidate for the committee for the appointment of judges.

Lapid also tweeted in response to these divisions: The opposition cannot destroy itself again. I ask its members not to divide their votes and support Karin Al Harar as our representative in the Judge Appointments Committee.

The judicial reform plan of the Israeli regime’s cabinet, which also includes the committee for the appointment of judges, in the first stage led to the formation of severe differences between the cabinet coalition and oppositions, and now these differences have been extended to the opposition parties as well.

In the past weeks, dozens of cities from the north to the south of Occupied Palestine, including Tel Aviv, Haifa, Occupied Jerusalem, Beersheba, Rishon Letzion, and Herzliya, were in the scene of demonstrations against Netanyahu’s far-right cabinet and the reforms of the Israeli judicial system.

The leaders of Israel’s opposition consider the judicial reforms of Netanyahu’s cabinet to weaken the judicial system and this figure’s attempt to prevent his trial for three cases of corruption and bribery, and they believe that these actions of the cabinet will lead Israel to conflict and civil war. It will lead to a gradual collapse.

Protesters say the judicial reform plan will be a severe blow to democracy, as it limits the power of the Supreme Court, Israel’s highest judicial body, on the passage of basic laws and allows Knesset members to delay its approval.

The approval of this plan, which was postponed by Netanyahu, has once again been carried out with the support of Netanyahu himself to fuel the fire of internal protests in Israel even more and also make it flammable even more.
