The governments of Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico were shocked to learn of a brand-new, extensive Israeli military incursion into the Palestinian West Bank city of Jenin.

In a joint statement released Tuesday by the Mexican Foreign Ministry, the two nations “express their sincere condolences to the families of those killed and urge all parties to cease hostilities immediately to prevent the escalation of a spiral of violence leading to an increase in the number of civilian casualties, population displacement, and destruction of urban infrastructure in Jenin.

Early on Monday, the Israeli government launched its largest air and ground offensive in recent memory, with Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) planes striking what they called “terrorist infrastructure” in the Jenin refugee camp with more than ten strikes.

The three nations of Latin America denounced terrorism in all of its forms and called for a two-state solution in which Israel and Palestine coexist within mutually acceptable and internationally recognized borders.
The Israeli raids resulted in 12 fatalities, including five children, and 140 injuries, with 30 of the civilian casualties being in critical condition, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health’s announcement on Tuesday.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, announced on Tuesday that the Israeli army had stopped attacking the West Bank city of Jenin.

At least ten Palestinians were killed and dozens more were hurt when the Tel Aviv regime launched a significant aerial and ground offensive in Jenin and its refugee camp on Monday. Some of the injured Palestinians were listed in critical or serious condition. On Tuesday, there were still attacks.

Armed drones and hundreds of troops were used by the regime against the defenseless Palestinians in what appeared to be the largest military assault in the occupied West Bank in the last 20 years.

Additionally, Israeli troops in the Jenin camp forced hundreds of families to leave their homes in order to demolish them and get to the resistance fighters.

Muslim and non-Muslim nations alike strongly condemned the regime’s cruel actions.
