With the recent happening in the eastern Mediterranean region, News agencies have reported that in the most recent incident of a year-long spike in violence, Israeli forces raided a refugee camp in the occupied West Bank and killed one young Palestinian man while injuring another.
The Askar refugee camp, which is situated on the outskirts of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, was stormed by Israeli troops early on Monday, according to witnesses who spoke to the Palestinian news agency Safa.
During the raid, clashes occurred in the area between Israeli soldiers and resistance forces, with both sides exchanging a lot of gunfire.

Two Palestinians were shot with live ammunition during the clashes, Ahmad Jibril, the director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Emergency and Ambulance Department in Nablus, told the official Palestinian news agency WAFA. He claimed that while one of them was shot in the chest and is reportedly in critical condition, the other one passed away.
Saleh Mohammad Sabra, 22, was named as the victim by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, which also reported that an Israeli live bullet had struck him in the chest.
Additionally, Israeli forces surrounded the home of Abdel Fattah Hussein Kharousha, a member of the Hamas resistance movement who carried out a retaliatory operation in the West Bank town of Huwara last February and killed two Israeli settlers.
Human rights groups have long criticized Israel’s decades-old practice of demolishing the homes of attackers’ families, calling it collective punishment.
Some also doubt its efficacy in stopping future attacks, claiming that such demolitions only heighten tensions and incite hatred in Palestinian communities.
During the attacks, which have increased since the start of the fasting month of Ramadan, Israeli forces have injured and detained hundreds of Palestinians including many deaths. Meanwhile, while deliberating on the inhuman activities of the Israeli military and police, illegal Israeli settlement, and occupying Palestinians’ homes have been the Isreal regime norms.
