Retaliation, Two settlers were shot and killed in the West Bank

In a retaliatory shooting operation in the West Bank that is still under occupation, two settlers were shot and killed in the West Bank following a natural cause of retaliation to the Israeli crimes.

Two settlers were killed by an oppressed Palestinian youth who opened fire on a car in the middle of the West Bank town of Hawara, south of Nablus, according to the Palestinian Information Center, which cited eyewitnesses.

For the incident, no one immediately took responsibility. The shooter fled the scene, but the Israeli military claims they are still after him.

Following the high crack down on Palestinian by the cruel Netanyahu government, a Senior Israeli and Palestinian Authority (PA) officials recently met in the Jordanian resort city of Aqaba to discuss ways to reduce tensions in the occupied territories.

The White House convened the so-called Israeli-Palestinian security summit in Jordan as a result of the Israeli military’s deadly raid on Nablus.

The Palestinian defending groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad, which are based in Gaza, have praised the shooting operation and claimed that it is a just response to Israeli atrocities committed against Palestinians, of which the most recent of which was the deadly raid in Nablus.

According to the groups, this operation was conducted in accordance with the promise of retaliation for the deaths of the two Palestinian defend fighters by Israeli forces in Nablus.

“This operation sends a message to the security meeting in Aqaba that the resistance will face the occupying regime and Israeli settlers as long as aggression against Palestinians persists,” It emphasized.

Israeli forces have been conducting daily raids in the occupied West Bank under the pretext of detaining what the government refers to as “wanted” Palestinians, which has caused tensions to increase throughout the region. Usually, when there are raids, residents are attacked fatally.

Israeli attacks on Palestinian cities and towns have increased over the past few months in all of the occupied Palestinian territories. Numerous Palestinians have been arrested and dozens of them have died as a result of these attacks.

Hossam Isleem and Mohammad Abdulghan, two Palestinian freedom fighters who were killed by Israeli fire, were inside the house when it was surrounded; resulted to a bloody clashes broke out on Wednesday as Israeli forces storming Nablus with dozens of armored vehicles while all entrances closed.

The two freedom Palestinians fighters were among the at least 11 Palestinians who died after the raid. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, 102 additional people were hurt, 82 of whom were hit by live ammunition. The attack was condemned and a response was vowed by Palestinian freedom fighters groups.

13 children were among the 61 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in the occupied territories since the year 2023 began as a result of the massacre. The deadly assault happened less than a month after the blood tasty Israeli forces raided the city of Jenin and the nearby refugee camp in the north of the occupied West Bank, killing ten Palestinians in one of the deadliest raids in years.
