A step-by-step guide to applying skincare

It is only what you apply but how you apply it. So you want to start your makeup routine well, you need to know the right procedure. If you don’t apply your makeup in the correct order it will not be effective and it could irritate your skin skincare

The general rule is to apply lighter ingredients first before the thicker ones.

So what are the steps;

1. Cleanse
Before you start applying anything on your face, it has to be sparkling clean and free of oil and dirt.

2. Toner
Do not get an alcoholic-based toner but a hydrating one. The concept of toner is a primer that will allow other ingredients to get absorbed easily.

3. Serums
Serums are oil-based moisturizers to protect your skin and they should come next after a toner.

Serums should be applied in tapping motions with your fingertips or palms. Serums should not be applied excessively. Allow it to sip into the skin by itself.
