On the second anniversary of the assassination of Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani, Iran celebrated the day as “International Hero Day” to remember the stalwart commander and his humanity.

Two years ago on January 3, the US killed Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Almuhandis outside Baghdad airport in violation of all international laws. However, in response, Iran attacked the US base, Ayn al Asad, in Iraq with ballistic missiles.

Iranian President said in the ceremony held on the second anniversary of the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani, former commander of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards, in Tehran: General Soleimani had the expertise to retake the usurped lands, and more importantly, he had the power to conquer hearts.

The president said that his school could not be destroyed by terror or missiles. They were involved in this criminal act. God’s retribution and the verdict should be imposed on them and they should be tried.

He continued: “Soleimani organized and built capacity for the best youth from Yemen, Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria, and the result was the death of ISIS.”

Raisi emphasized: Qassem deeply believed that the United States could not make any mistake. Saying that resistance and hostility were in the school of Martyr Soleimani

The president said: Qassem was a general and a general, but he should not be considered just a military figure because Haj Qassem was an expert in conquering hearts and he was a hero.

Zeinab Soleimani, the daughter of General Qassem Soleimani, said: Today, seeing each and every one of you, the people who killed him understand what a big mistake he has made.
