The international media has reacted differently to the recently ended Iran’s air, water and land force maneuvers.
Reuters: Iran says it has warned US drones near its drill in the Persian Gulf / The annual exercise ended on Tuesday, a few weeks before talks between Tehran and world powers began to revive the 2015 nuclear deal.

German news agency SPIEGEL reported: Tehran said Iran poses no threat to other countries in the region and that the maneuvers were only to prepare for possible attacks. The West and the Arab Gulf states see it differently. For them, the maneuvers and the entire Iranian military and missile program pose a threat to the Persian Gulf region, where about 40 percent of the world’s crude oil shipments are transported. There are also concerns that Iran could strike at Israel with its medium-range missiles with a range of up to 2,200 kilometers.
