Popular Social Critic and Ex-Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has carpeted the Former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, over his recent call for the Impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Lamido had stated recently that the payment of Fuel subsidy without appropriation was enough grounds for an impeachment.
Reacting to the development, Omokri took to Twitter to criticize the former monarch, describing him as ‘manipulative’.
“Today the former Emir of Kano (if it annoys him, let him go and jump into the Lagos lagoon), Sanusi Lamido, is calling for the impeachment of Buhari. Has Sanusi forgotten that Buhari was elected because of the lie he told that $49 billion was missing under Jonathan?”

“Sanusi Lamido is a most manipulative individual, who got his comeuppance because you cannot violate the law of reaping and sowing.”
“His vanity is so legendary that he dealt with a brilliant young technocrat in Kaduna because he referred to Sanusi as “former emir””, he wrote.
Recall that it was earlier reported that, Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has charged Senators to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari.
Omokri said the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo’s sack of the acting Director General of the Department of State Services, DSS, Lawal Daura should not stop the lawmakers from impeaching Buhari.
Recall that Osinbajo had fired the secret police boss, following DSS siege on the National Assembly.
DSS, alongside other security operatives, had invaded the National Assembly stopping lawmakers from meeting.
However, the former presidential aide said though Daura was the “fall guy”, advocacy of Nigerians got him sacked.
In a series of tweets, Omokri wrote: “Even though Lawal Daura was a fall guy, at least our advocacy got him sacked.
“That is still a plus for @ProfOsinbajo. We should not underestimate what the VP has achieved. But that should not stop the @NGRSenate and @HouseNGR from impeaching Buhari to #FrustrateBuhariDictatorship.
“Nigerians recall that the NHIS boss, Usman Yusuf, was suspended for corruption by Osinbajo when President Buhari traveled to London only to be reinstated by @MBuhari when he returned to Nigeria.
“This must not be the case with the sacked DSS DG. He must go, never to return again!”
