Petrol card failed in Iran, people can take free petrol

Nationwide reports indicate disruptions at gas stations in various cities, long queues at gas stations petrol, and dissatisfaction among drivers and passengers.

According to Tasneem news agency, Ali Forouzandeh, spokesman for the Ministry of Oil, told reporters: “Refueling at gas stations is not a problem, there is no problem for refueling and people can refuel at a free price.”

Referring to the disruption in receiving gasoline through the fuel smart card, he said: “Drivers can receive gasoline from gas stations at a free rate.”

Ali Forouzandeh added among the reporters: Now, refueling without a fuel card is not a problem.

He added that the fuel card system is out of order, adding: “People can get gasoline from gas stations at a free rate.”
