Palestine: Israeli forces detain 14 Palestinians in West Bank raids

The Israeli army on Tuesday overnight detained at least 14 Palestinians from various places in the West Bank, according to local and security sources.

Israeli forces rounded up three Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking their houses in Silwan, northeast of Ramallah.

Three more Palestinians from Kafr Ni’ma village, northwest of Ramallah, were also detained in the raids.

In the northern West Bank, one Palestinian man taken away in Meithalun town, south of Jenin city.

In Jerusalem, the soldiers forcibly entered a home and detained another in Biddu village, northwest of the city.

In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces conducted separate raids in Bethlehem and Beit Jala city, resulting in the detention of two others.

Israeli soldiers detained another Palestinian in Halhul town north of Hebron city in the south of the West Bank, one from Hebron, and a former detainee from Beit Kahel village, northwest of the city.

Troops re-arrested a former prisoner after storming and searching his house in the Iskan Al Baladiyah neighborhood of Hebron.
