Watch your tongue about Sultan our Leader – Group to Femi Fani-Kayode

To the various councils of elders, Muslim/Christian leaders, ethnic nationalities’ leaders, leaders of political communities and, above all, the leaders of Governments in Nigeria, it is time, not just to call to order but more willfully, to bring Pastor Femi Fani-Kayode under chaindown with his hands, legs tied and mouth sealed for as long as he will resolve with his blood and spirit that he will henceforth rescind his shameless rabblerousing against Islam in Nigeria and leadership of the Muslim Community in the country.

There will be no space to begin itemizing the sins of Fani-Kayode, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s politician, lacking in self censor impersonating the representativeness of Christian Community in effort to cause religious unrest in the land. No one even in Christendom will come in dispute me that he has made several attempts trying to run down the ancestral leader of Nigerian Muslim Ummah when he painted the person of Sheikh Usman Dan Fodio in most unprintable manners possible within his unchecked utterances.

It will also be recalled how his madness (and I mean my use of language here) suddenly reached the peak of its height landing amidst the market square, during the visit of United States of America’s Secretary of State, at that time Mr. John Kerry, when he came to Nigeria on behalf of Barrack Obama to join in proffering solution to Boko Haram in Northern Nigeria particularly the North East.

How did it happen? Knowing the Islamically unfriendliness of Nigerian media until recently when The DEFENDER came and The NATION/TVC began to see reason in the good and patriotic work the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA)/Radio Nigeria are doing and are now beginning to show a little bit of fairness towards the long shortchanged, underreported Muslim Ummah, Femi Fani-Kayode went to town with a fully covered and published nastiness in which he called out the US for visiting the Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Alhaji General Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, and not visiting the Christian leaders of the North.

He a tweet he posted exactly 4.19am on August 23, 2016 following the Kerry’s visit a day before, Fani-Kayode said and I quote, “I listened to the garbage that @JohnKerry said to the Sultan. May God forgive him. All I can say is that I pray that @realDonaldTrump wins.”

The US envoy had lauded the Sultan for promoting religious tolerance and understanding among Nigerians.

But in a show of envy (do I say?) or disapproval of an American commendation of a Muslim leader particularly in Nigeria (which the Muslim Ummah deserves being the only of the two religious communities working that Nigerians across ethnic and religious backgrounds may coexist in peace and harmony at a time the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, was at its peak causing disaffection in the land), this man man, who is supposed to be refined as a Nigeria’s former minister and lawyer, described that commendation coming from US’ John Kerry to Nigeria’s Sultan of Sokoto as ‘garbage’. And that word ‘garbage’ lead the media report for that day to the happiness of the drowning fool who does not realize the extent of his disorderliness in the community of Nigeria’s nationhood.

One of the media outfits to which he contributed that stench to even reported that disgust by him as “In his new piece, (our) contributor and former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has in strong terms condemned the visit of the United States’ secretary of state John Kerry to some specific parts of Nigeria. He also condemned his meeting with a selected notable Nigerians and some incidents that have taken place with the past few days.”

Meanwhile, the first meeting John Kerry had was with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja before flying to Sokoto where he met with the Sultan and then moved on to meeting the governors of the 19 Northern states of the country. Kerry, President Barack Obama’s confidant and Mrs. Hilary Clinton’s successor in office praised Sultan for his peace and development work not only in Nigeria but around the globe.

But this wild whirl fellow, according to the medium he contributed it to, reported Fani-Kayode as denying on behalf of South Nigeria Muslim Ummah acceptance of leadership of the Sultan, thereby intending to cut the brotherhood cord that exists between the Muslims North and Muslims South in furtherance of his mischief in the land. Anyone who knows the cost of restoring peace in an insecurity-laden society would appreciate while Femi Fani-Kayode should not be allowed to live for inciting Nigerians across the ethnic and religious groups to conflicts with one another.

He has never denied being a pastor speaking for the Christians and lawyer who knows the law, despite his penchant for corruption for which has several of such allegations hung on his neck with some trials going on in courts, his romance with fake news of different categories and hate speeches towards religious and ethnic divisiveness among the peace loving people of Nigeria.

Fani-Kayode did a self arranged step-by-step itinerary of John Kerry when he said he said the first meeting he had was with Sultan of Sokoto and misrepresented the Sultan’s comments to Kerry, in his 23 August 2016 disgusting tweet he posted as saying: “Christians commit wicked acts and crimes against humanity” and that “the wearing of the hijab is the right of every Muslim”.

He continued that the second meeting the US envoy had was with the 19 Northern states’ governors of “16 of whom are Muslims” and that the third meeting was with “our Muslim-fanatic and sharia-loving President who has refused to call his kinsmen, the Fulani herdsmen and militants, to order and prosectute even one of them for mass murder and genocide.”

He continued: “On the very same day that all this was happening the Islamic Development Bank visited the President and opened their first office in Nigeria. The government has also quietly put two separate pieces of legislation before the National Assembly for consideration which, if passed, would on the one hand legalize criminal sharia law and on the other give grazing land to the Fulani herdsmen in the middle belt and the south. The Christians of Nigeria should make of all this what they will. I wonder whether they still “love and trust” the “liberal” Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama?”

Just for this reason of Kerry’s visit on Obama administration’s assignment, the evil-minded Femi Fani-Kayode even tried to arouse Nigerian Christians whipping their sentiment against Obama over Clinton: “I wonder if they still believe that Clinton and Obama love ALL Nigerians and not just those that they helped to get into power last year?

Think hard and think deep Christian before it is too late and you are overwhelmed. Consider the religious war that took place in Lebanon years ago and that is taking place in Syria today. No-one wants a war because war is the ultimate evil yet the bitter truth must be told.” He said more nasty things in that piece and I have only tried to brush our memories with few aspects.

Later on 19 September 2016, this same Femi Fani-Kayode wrote a piece titled, “The bloody legacy of Usman Dan Fodio (Part I)”. In his opening of that piece he said: “On 19th September 2016 after the latest bombing in New York, Mr. Donald J. Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, said “In the 20th century the United States of America defeated fascism, nazism and communism.

Today the United States of America must destroy (radical) Islamism”.” Moving forward he said: “Mr. Trump is absolutely right! Yet it is not just in America that the scourge of jihadi violence and Islamist terror must be destroyed. It must be uprooted, defeated and destroyed throughout the entire world, including Nigeria.”

And to him, this was the legacy of Sheikh Usman Dan Fodio for Nigeria which made him to believe, despite all open truths everywhere against the position he holds, that only Christians were victims of the Boko Haram thing. One would not even be clear as to whether the grouse of this disgruntled element parading himself as Christian protector is against Islam, Fulani or President Muhammadu Buhari for being a Muslim in power who refuses to soil his hands with the corruption and bloodletting his party hitherto established in the Nigeria’s life.

The latest of him which must not be taken with levity by anybody is his piece attempting to drag the leader of Nigeria’s Muslim Ummah into its PDP’s public hate, fake news and conflicts titled, “On Atiku, my reply to Sultan of Sokoto” and he came up with his slander on 11 March 2019.

Some Nigerians with hypocritical blood as of Femi would always say, “Leave him. Who is listening to him? He is a mad dog.” But we that are serious about the Nigerianism in us know that if you don’t check a mad dog and it goes more haywire to bite, survival of the victims remains in the decision of Almighty Allah. Femi Fani-Kayode’s excesses must now be tamed by a quick arrest.

Just read his slander against the Sultan saying the Muslim leader told Atiku that, “If you go to court you will win but there will be war and Nigerians will be massacred. Please accept the results as the will of God.” And Fani-Kayode said: “The words above have been attributed to the Sultan of Sokoto and understandably they have caused quite a stir. He has not refuted them and consequently I assume that they are his words.”

From this last one, I now believe that Omo Eya, Eya l’omaajo (Femi takes after his father Chief Remi Fani-Kayode). Before I moved to the conclusion, we have been told stories of his father and have come to believe by the attitudes of the lawyer, pastor son that that Fani-Kayode’s family should by now be written in the black page of Nigeria’s history particularly in Yoruba Land.

The family not only played role in how Yoruba Race did not make it to the centre to be able to splash its progressives tendencies and leadership dividends over the entire Nigeria but also, clearly its contributions to the law, religious, political and ethnic communities are not little. Same we have seen Femi doing. But who says son has not taken after his father?

Now my comment on his slander against Sultan, I will say, what does this man take the Sultan to be by expecting him to make react to the nonsense that is from no other source except himself the supposed former minister? We have seen how you posted fake news about Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, bought over by Yinka Odumakin, his cohort and spokesman of Afenifere another group to which he so much fits and how the media took it over and helped him hype the fake news.

Serious traditional media with names! They engaged themselves working with this fake man called Femi Fani-Kayode in publishing fake, unverifiable information to the mislead of the already vulnerable Nigerian public! It was later they started apologizing for their fake news saying “I think”, “I think”. Yet a media outfit would still pick information from this fake man and publish?

I can confirm to you, Fani-Kayode, that Sultan is not what you think. Is it not now coming to clarity how the fake story of his collecting Sokoto State money to buy a house for himself in Abuja got to Sahara Reporters? Up till today, after I diffused the fake news as Vanguard journalist and later as columnist of The DEFENDER, has any of you come out to prove me or the Sultan wrong?

How come you of all people are saying that because Sultan did not deny your so called statement over Atiku and his court thing it means he said so? As a former minister in this country, if you have difficulty in reaching out to Sultan to confirm a comment mischievously credited to him before you went all out misinforming the public, it means you are a problem not only to yourself but to the entire nation and your excesses need to be tamed with all alacrity.

Just to serve as lesson to all, the last time in the heat of politicking, I saw a comment on social media that Governor of Sokoto State Aminu Waziri Tambuwal said he regretted not accepting the advice of Bola Ahmed Tinubu asking him not to decamp to PDP.

I refused to comment on that statement but I didn’t stop there. I picked it and sent as email to the governor who replied me and I sent his reply for publication as a news material. That was how I helped clear the minds of Nigerians over that fake news.

But you, of all people, Femi Fani-Kayode, you got an unbelievable comment credited to Sultan, instead of you to reach out to him for clarification, you waited to see his reaction, as if Sultan is a chicken mind like your likes, and because you didn’t see his reaction you took the words to be his own. Too petty of you and you do not deserve respect by any Nigerian!

Let me put it straight to Femi Fani-Kayode in this piece that if all horn-bearing animals threaten to knock, snail shouldn’t count itself to be among. Every politician of 2019 season, in his effort to get popular among the people home and abroad, used the Sultan’s name in playing his partisan politics and we refuted the lies as they came. So, what is your own? We know you to be a sadist in addition to being a religious bigot and ethnic jingoist as well as the chief modaru of Nigerian politics.

In conclusion, your family background alone is enough to trash you off the category of relevance in Nigeria’s history. You can only meet with doom messing up with the name of Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji General Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar because one million of you do not have the neck to carry the load. Let this be your last such unkempt behaviour because, we will stand our feet firmly on the ground and face you until Nigeria’s record no longer has anything resembling “Fani-Kayode” and anything association to it.

It was earlier reported that, Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Monday berated the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III for defending the wearing of hijab by Muslim women.

The former Minister said if the monarch can champion the fight against child marriage and pedophilia with the same zeal he is fighting the cause for hijab, the North will be a better place.

In a series of tweets via his social media handle, Fani-Kayode insisted that wearing of hijab is not a sign of women liberation.

Fani-Kayode wrote: “If the Sultan of Sokoto would champion the fight against child marriage and pedophilia in the same way and with the same zeal that he is fighting for and championing the cause of those who wish to wear the hijab, the north would be a much better and safer place for little girls.

“Wearing the hijab is not evidence of women’s liberation and neither is it borne out of free will.

“It is a Pavlovian reaction and a conditioned response. It is also an eloquent testimony and ugly reminder of the suffering, servitude, repression, bondage and humiliation of women.”

Recall the monarch had over the weekend faulted the decision of the Nigerian Law School to deny one Miss Amasa Firdaus call to bar for refusing to remove her hijab worn under her wig.
