Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hossein has articulated that putting pressure on Israel is crucial to prevent the outbreak of further conflict in the region.
In comments reported by Qatar’s Al Jazeera and cited by the Mehr news agency, Hossein emphasized that urging Israel to accept a ceasefire is the only viable solution to mitigate the risk of a new war.
The Foreign Minister expressed concerns over the ongoing violence in Gaza and Lebanon, warning that if the situation persists, it could spark additional conflicts in neighboring regions.
He underscored the urgency of international efforts to de-escalate tensions and foster a more stable environment in the Middle East.
