Cynthia Obi-Uchendu, the wife of media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has revealed that she is open to having one more child, preferably a boy.
Speaking on the newest episode of the Mums Next Door podcast, hosted by Big Brother Naija alumnus Maria Benjamin, Cynthia opened up about her interest in having a third child.
Maria asked, “Do you want more kids?” to which Cynthia responded, “Yeah, why not? I want one more.”
The host inquired further and asked Cynthia how Ebuka felt about wanting more children, and she replied, “It’s not his decision. I definitely want one more; I have two girls.”
“Do you want a boy? What’s your preference if you were to get pregnant?” the reality TV star probed further.
Cynthia responded, “Why not? Of course, my preference would be to have a boy. Ebuka’s approach to things is very ‘Whatever you want’.
“The thing is, my husband wanted one child, he was like he wanted to give them the best, school fees are expensive. But truly, he is obsessed with our kids, and I’m sure if we had a third one, he would be obsessed,” Cynthia explained further.
“Maybe a fourth?” Cynthia interjected in between laughter, “No, that’s far.”
Cynthia met Ebuka through her older brother and they linked up on Twitter, later, they got talking on New Year’s Day in 2014.
They hit it off and eventually got engaged in April 2015 after an intimate proposal at Sakura, a Japanese restaurant in the Victoria Island area of Lagos State, and tied the knot in November of that same year. They have since welcomed two beautiful daughters, Jeweluchi and Irubinachi to the world.
