US denial of China’s supremacy, may lead to war – Hungary’s PM Orban

The “inevitable” war between Washington and Beijing has been predicted by Viktor Orban, the prime minister of Hungary because the US is reluctant to recognize China’s dominance.

Orban said at a venue in Romanian Transylvania on Saturday that the United States does not acknowledge that China has advanced ahead of them in many sectors.

The second-most powerful country in the world is not something the USA recognizes, he continued.

The outspoken prime minister claimed that China had lain dormant for hundreds of years, but that it had awakened and had managed to develop as much in 30 years as other nations do in 200.

He claimed that as a result of its growth and technological development, the Chinese people can now assert their “place under the sun.”

But, he continued, Washington does not approve of such rapid development. Therefore, a conflict between the two superpowers is unavoidable.
The South China Sea and the Chinese claim to Taiwan are the two main points of contention between the US and China that have significantly heightened tensions.

The United States continues to be Taiwan’s most significant international ally and arms supplier despite publicly recognizing China’s sovereignty over the island under “the One China policy,” which is a source of ongoing hostilities between Washington and Beijing.

In addition to the AUKUS alliance—also with Australia and the UK—the United States has also formed partnerships with India, Japan, and Australia.

The goals of the two US agreements are to increase each nation’s capacity to support security and defense goals through a military alliance akin to NATO.

The US has received numerous warnings from China against its enlarging foreign policy.

Beijing expressed opposition to NATO’s eastward expansion earlier this month, viewing it as a threat by the US-led military alliance to further encroach on the Asia-Pacific region, and vowed to firmly counter any threat against its legitimate rights.

Following a NATO summit on July 12 in Vilnius, Lithuania, where the US-led Western military alliance lashed out at Beijing and accused it of undermining the interests, security, and values of NATO members, China’s mission to the European Union issued the warning.

Beijing retorted that any threats from the US would be met with a resolute Chinese government defense of its sovereignty, security, and interests.
