An activist claims that several Palestinians were injured in an Israeli settler attack near the village of Duma, which is located south of the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
A group of Israeli settlers reportedly threw rocks at Palestinian cars driving on a road close to Duma, according to Ghassan Daghlas, who keeps an eye on settlement activity in the northern West Bank, according to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.
The settlers attacked two Palestinians, causing injuries to them, and damaged their car’s windshield.

Both victims, who were citizens of the village of Qusra in the south of Nablus, received medical attention there.
In another incident, Israeli settlers chased a car carrying Palestinian passengers and attacked them with pepper spray near Jamma’in town, south of Nablus, inflicting eye injuries.
On the same day, Israeli troops destroyed sizable portions of Palestinian-owned land in the area south of the village of Qaryut, which is near Nablus.
According to Daghlas, seven bulldozers belonging to the Israeli military reportedly leveled sections of land west of Qaryut as part of efforts to enlarge the illegal settlements of Eli and Shilo and connect them with a road.
In an effort to forcibly evict Palestinians from their lands and make room for growing illegal settlements, Israeli soldiers and settlers have been intensifying their attacks against Palestinian civilians in the occupied territories.
Human rights organizations claim that violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinians and their property occurs frequently throughout the occupied West Bank.
More than 230 illegal settlements constructed since Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories of the West Bank and East al-Quds in 1967 now house more than 600,000 Zionists.
International law deems every settlement to be unlawful. The construction of settlements in the occupied territories by the Israeli regime has been denounced by the UN Security Council in a number of resolutions.
Despite widespread condemnation, the Israeli government has continued to expand illegal settlements in the Palestinian territories. The extremist cabinet of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has endorsed the plan.
The regime’s authorities on Monday approved the construction of nearly 5,700 new settler units in the occupied West Bank, marking the latest step in the expansion of illegal settlements.
