In the occupied West Bank, Doctors without Borders has urged Israel to immediately halt the demolition of Palestinian homes, schools, and infrastructure.
Wafa News Agency reported on Monday that MSF’s head of mission in the occupied Palestinian territory, David Cantero-Pérez, urged Israeli authorities to immediately cease the demolitions and fulfill their obligations under international and human rights law.
He demanded that Israeli forces stop conducting nighttime raids on Masafer Yatta and the nearby villages south of al-Khalil.

The official from MSF also said that Israeli authorities put a lot of pressure on local Palestinians to leave by force.
According to the official, the regime’s authorities have intensified their punitive measures since May 2022, when an Israeli court ruled that prevents Palestinians from being forced to leave their homes in the region.
MSF, the French acronym for the medical charity, also cautioned the regime against issuing new demolition orders.
On Monday, the MSF pleaded with the international community to take all necessary precautions to safeguard Palestinians. Interviews with residents of Masafer Yatta and several nearby villages were included in the report, which documented their suffering as a result of Israeli soldiers’ and settlers’ violence.
The MSF urged the main backers of the regime, the United States and the European Union, to put pressure on Israel to stop violating human rights in the occupied territories.
In order to build and expand new settlers’ settlements in the West Bank, Israel has already occupied thousands of dunums of Palestinian agricultural land.
Over 230 Israeli settlements have been constructed since Israel’s 1967 occupation of the West Bank and al-Quds Palestinian territories, home to over 600,000 Israelis. Every one of the settlements is unlawful under global regulation. In a number of resolutions, the Security Council of the United Nations has criticized Israel’s settlement activities in the occupied territories.
