The United States’ military-biological activities in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) have been slammed by Russia’s Foreign Minister as a security risk.
“There are threats of terrorism and threats posed by military-biological activities in our space by the United States and its allies, which create very dangerous precedents in terms of biological security,” Sergei Lavrov warned at a news conference following his visit to Uzbekistan on Friday. Additionally, there is a direct threat to the environment and public health.”

Lavrov brought up that eliminating risks undermining harmony and security in the locale was of most extreme significance and required a joint exertion.
A resolution calling for a parliamentary investigation into Biolabs in Ukraine was approved by the Russian State Duma and the Federation Council in March 2022.
The Russian research commission closed on Wednesday that the US military is fostering a “general” hereditarily modified bioweapon tantamount to that of an “atomic winter.”
On February 24, 2022, personnel working at these Biolabs in Ukraine, which are funded by the Pentagon, disclosed the emergency eradication of plague, anthrax, tularemia, cholera, and other deadly diseases.
The commission stated in its report that “the possession of such highly effective biological weapons creates, in the view of the US military, the real prerequisites to change the nature of contemporary armed conflicts.”
Victoria Nuland, the then-US Under Secretary of State, expressed concern regarding the bio labs materials prior to the beginning of the Russian campaign in Ukraine in late February 2022.
Nuland confirmed that there were facilities in Ukraine that carried out research in the field of biology while speaking at a congressional hearing in 2022 that was held by the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US Senate.
She stated that the Department of State is collaborating with Ukraine to ensure that Kyiv can “prevent any of these research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces.” Additionally, the Department of State is “concerned that the Russian military may be trying to take control of them.”
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Nuland had in fact confirmed the Pentagon’s involvement in Ukraine’s biological programs.
In a previous report, the Russian embassy in Armenia also stated that “organizations involved in bio-projects in Ukraine” existed.
According to reports, the Armenian government has denied the existence of Biolabs collaborating with US military personnel.
Russia has filed a complaint and informed the United Nations about the global secret American military Biolabs.
In October, Vassily Nebenzia, the Russian permanent representative at the United Nations, urged the UN Security Council to establish a panel to investigate the activities of US-led military biological labs that are prohibited by the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) or Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC).
The BTWC, which was ratified in 1972 and prohibits the use of biological weapons as a type of WMD that poses a serious threat to human life and property, was signed by the United States. However, from 1943 to 1969, the United States had an official military program for biological weapons.
Despite its international obligations prohibiting such programs, China has also urged Washington to clarify the purpose of the US military’s activities involving biological weapons.
