Dozens of terrorists affiliated with the Daesh Takfiri organization were airlifted by US occupation forces from a jail in the Hasakah province of northeastern Syria to nearby military facilities before being moved to a major base in the important al-Tanf region, close to the borders with Iraq and Jordan.
According to local sources cited by Syria’s official news agency SANA, US military helicopters moved the Daesh extremists from the Industrial Secondary Prison, which is run by the self-described Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) led by Kurds, to their camps in the town of al-Shaddadi and the al-Omar oil field.
The Takfiri terrorists will subsequently be transferred to the American military installation in the al-Tanf region where they would launch terror operations against homes, and facilities that offer public utilities, as well as the positions of Syrian government forces.
Many Daesh militants who have been apprehended have already admitted to working closely with US military personnel stationed at the al-Tanf base in the Homs province of central Syria to commit different acts of terrorism and sabotage.
Several terrorists confessed that they were directed by American forces to target Syrian government troops in and around the ancient city of Palmyra, the Tiyas Military Airbase, also known as the T-4 Airbase, the Shaer gas field, and other locations during confessions broadcast on Syria’s state-run television network in May 2020.
in April of last year said that many Daesh militants were receiving training in rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), shoulder-launched rockets, anti-armor and anti-aircraft missiles, and other weapons at the US military installation in al-Shaddadi town, according to an anonymous local source.
According to the reports, the Takfiris would soon be moved to the Jazira Area in the eastern Syrian province of Dayr al-Zawr and the Syrian Desert, northeast of Damascus, where they would launch attacks against Syrian army positions, critical infrastructure, and public gatherings.
Up until recently, the American military was airlifting Daesh terrorists throughout Syria in an effort to spare them from the advance and territorial gains of Syrian government troops.
A number of batches of Daesh terrorists and their relatives from the Syrian territory of neighboring Iraq have also been moved to safe havens by American occupation troops.
Furthermore, numerous reports over the years have shown Washington’s direct or covert backing of the terrorist organization through its partners in the region.
Even though Daesh has now been driven out of all of its urban strongholds in both Iraq and Syria, its remnants still occasionally carry out terrorist strikes in both Arab nations.
