Israeli military forces stormed a refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, injured at least thirteen Palestinians, prompting worries that the situation in the occupied territories will soon come to a more serious issue than ever; this has resulted in many Palestinians having been injured and detained as a consequence of Israeli invasions into the West Bank, which is still under occupation.
Israeli troops reportedly entered the Jordan Valley’s Aqbat Jabr camp, southwest of Ariha, on Saturday morning after a week-long siege, according to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA. According to the report, which cited local sources, the refugee camp later heard explosions and gunfire exchanges.
Israeli soldiers allegedly opened fire on Palestinians in the camp, fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades, and ordered residents of one section of the camp to leave their homes. These claims were made by witnesses, also, a chicken farm was completely destroyed after the soldiers broke in.

Following the invasion, three of those with gun injuries by Israeli gunfire, are in critical condition according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. To intensify the inhumane activities, the Israeli forces have also prevented Palestinian medical professionals from entering Ariha to work, the ministry added.
According to the report, in the mosques of the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, there were calls that could be heard loudly for people to come out and protect the area. Also, Locals received text messages advising them to stay inside to avoid clashes with Israeli forces.
Three Palestinians, including a father and his two sons, were reportedly arrested, according to local sources, after Israeli troops surrounded a house in the neighborhood. The same sources also stated that Israeli forces ordered those inside a house, under siege to surrender while demolishing portions of the house’s walls.
Following these gruesome incidents, a supposedly unsuccessful shooting attempt at an Israeli-operated restaurant outside the West Bank city of Ariha, Israel imposed a blockade on the area a week ago. The alleged incident left no one hurt, but the Israeli military claims the shooter fled into Ariha.
This new scenario comes after Israeli forces killed an unarmed Palestinian man in the West Bank in less than 24 hours. According to The Palestinian Ministry of Health statement on Friday evening stating that Abdullah Sami Qalalweh, 26, had been killed by “Israeli occupation bullets near the town of Huwara, south of Nablus”.
Under the guise of remanding Palestinians who it claims are “wanted,” Israeli forces conduct raids on a number of cities in the occupied West Bank almost every day. The raids frequently result in violent encounters with locals. Israeli attacks on Palestinian cities and towns have increased over the past few months in all occupied Palestinian territories. Numerous Palestinians have been detained and dozens of them have died as a result of these attacks.
In the West Bank and the occupied East al-Quds last year, Israeli forces killed at least 171 Palestinians, including more than 30 children. Also, those with injuries were at least 9,000 more people. According to the UN, 2022 was the deadliest year for Palestinians in the West Bank for over 16 years.
Obviously, the Israeli continuous illegal Invasions in the occupied West Bank and the ill-treatment is pushing the Palestinians to the wall, and it might result in an unimaginable catastrophic retaliation that will shake the existence of the Israeli regime, no matter how powerful the regime seems to be if caution is not applied.
