No fewer than four of the victims of Ayanyan Kara Market Ogbomoso clash were rescued by the Personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Oyo State Command.
The personnel also arrested four in connection with the unfortunatel clash.
The development according to press release by the Command Public Relation Officer of the, Superintendent Olusegun Oluwole stated that the state Corps Commandant, Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya warned the residents most especially the friends and family of the affected victims against reprisal attack.
According to a copy of the release made available to Daily INDEPENDENT in Ibadan, the Capital City of Oyo State also maintained that the residents should not take law into their hands, but rather seeks for alternative dispute resolution from the command peace and resolution unit to settle the matter amicably.
Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya on Thursday at the Command Headquarters Agodi Ibadan while addressing the NSCDC personnel deployed for Local Government Elections scheduled for Saturday across the State maintained that the Four suspects were arrested by the Agro Rangers squad in Ogbomoso axis of the State following a distress call that was made by the chairman of Ogbomoso Miyetti Allah, Alhaji Mahmud Muhammed for prompt intervention in a serious fight at Ayanyan Kara market Ogbomoso between the Fulani people.
According to the statement the incident was reliably gathered that the fight between the family of Alhaji Mumuni of Alata Village Ogbomoso North and Mr Daka Adamu of Idi Igba Village Ogbomoso North which started last Saturday 15th May, 2021 at Okonjo area Ogbomoso North where two member of Daka family sustained injury.
Following this it was alleged that Daka family invited their relatives from Gambari in Surulere Local Government for reprisal attack yesterday Wednesday 19/5/2021.
However the intervention of Agro Rangers squad doused the tension and four (4) suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident.
The arrested suspects are Isiaka Abdulmumin, aged 25, Adamu Musa, aged 65, Saliu Yusuf, 20 and Muhammed Abdullahi, 18, while the rescued four victims that sustained various degree of injuries have been taken to LAUTECH Teaching Hospital for proper medical attention.
The victims are Umaru Mumini, aged 45, from Alata Village, Isiaka Usman, 30, from Gambari Oloya Village, Muhammadu Jamiu, 25 of Alata Village and Hassan Yakubu, 40 of Erita Village.
Exhibits recovered from the suspects includes 3 Machet, 1 stick, 3 Techno Phones and sum of N34,700 (Thirty four thousand seven hundred naira only.

However Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya through the statement warns against violence in any form in Oyo State, stressing that NSCDC will not treat anybody involve in crime and criminality with kid glove.
He appreciated the efforts of Chairman Ogbomoso Miyetti Allah for his timely information, and also encourage all the good people of the State to volunteer informations to nip crime in the bud and as well promised that the identity of volunteers will remain confidential.
Meanwhile, as the same case have already reported to the Police Area Command where the crisis occurred, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Ogbomoso Area Command have transferred the case to the Area Police Command despite the fact that NSCDC rescue the situation.
