The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces declared during a rally in support of Gaza and Lebanon, which took place across multiple Yemeni cities, that three American warships were targeted in a significant military operation in the Red Sea.
Yahya Saree reported that during the operation, the three American warships were hit as they allegedly moved to assist what he referred to as the ‘Zionist enemy.’
He detailed that this operation involved the combined efforts of naval, missile, and drone forces, utilizing a total of 23 ballistic and cruise missiles, along with one drone, and claimed that all three destroyers were successfully struck.
Saree described the naval operation as the most extensive conducted in the ‘battle of the promised victory’ and referred to it as a part of the ‘holy jihad’ in support of the ongoing war in Gaza, coinciding with attacks on Jaffa and Ashkelon in the occupied territories.
He further emphasized that the Yemeni armed forces remain prepared to execute additional military operations in solidarity with the Palestinian people and the Lebanese resistance.
