Will Iran Abandon Hezbollah?

The current developments, like a spark in dry wood, have led some to claim that Iran has abandoned Hezbollah and other resistance factions.

With the launch of the first “Qader 1” missile at the Mossad headquarters in central Tel Aviv, and the rush of two million Israelis toward shelters, the equation of “Tel Aviv in exchange for Southern Dahiyeh”—as mentioned by Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in one of his recent speeches—was realized.

The electronic newspaper Rai al-Youm, which is updated in London, wrote in its editorial by its editor-in-chief, Abdel Bari Atwan, that the strategic missile “Qader 1”, piercing the political and economic heart of the Zionist regime, i.e., Tel Aviv, represents a turning point in the realization of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s threats against this regime.

With the launch of this missile, Hezbollah has moved from the stage of launching rockets with limited destructive power to the stage of firing “Fadi 1” and “Fadi 2” missiles, and more importantly, heavy and precision-guided ballistic missiles with high destructive power.

October 7: A Turning Point in the Palestinian Struggle for Identity and Justice

The attack by Israeli F-35 fighter jets or American-made F-15 and F-16 bombers on Lebanese soil and the heinous crimes committed against ordinary citizens cannot help Netanyahu in fulfilling his promises and returning more than 150,000 settlers to settlements they abandoned due to fear of Hezbollah’s rockets.

This is because every airstrike by the Zionist regime on Lebanese soil will be met with Hezbollah missile strikes on occupied Palestine, fundamentally altering the rules of war.

The primary manifestation of these changes will be attacks on the Zionist regime’s infrastructure and the intensification of a war of attrition by the Islamic resistance in the north, expanding the scope to the south and west of occupied Palestine.

The recall of two brigades of Zionist regime reserve forces is, in fact, a prelude to a ground attack on Lebanon aimed at putting pressure on Hezbollah’s leaders to accept a ceasefire plan and to return Zionist refugees to settlements in northern occupied Palestine, creating a distance between the northern front and the Gaza front.

Will Iran Abandon Hezbollah?

However, the current developments, like a spark in dry wood, have led some to claim that Iran has abandoned Hezbollah and other resistance factions.

This is a simplistic, hasty, and rushed interpretation of the recent statements made by Masoud Pezeshkian, the president of Iran.

In reality, Iran has always been fully involved in all the wars of the resistance axis, whether in Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, or Syria.

Through its experts or missile and weaponry support, Iran has strengthened the resistance axis, and with its drones, which represent the greatest invention in modern history, it has stood alongside the military arms of the resistance axis.

It is worth mentioning here that Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, as the leader and top figure in Iran, quickly complemented the statements of Masoud Pezeshkian, the president, by stating that the assassination of high-ranking Hezbollah figures cannot bring Hezbollah to its knees.

Hezbollah possesses enormous organizational strength and human resources, and such assassinations will never be able to defeat it. He concluded by stating, “In the end, the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance will be victorious.”

We, in unison with Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, declare that the ground invasion of Lebanon— for which Israel is preparing— will be a gift to the Islamic resistance.

Just as this regime’s two previous ground invasions in 1982 and 2006 ended in defeat, this time too, this regime will suffer a humiliating defeat. Surrender is not in the ethos of the fighters in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, or Syria.
