Gaza Under Fire: At Least Killed, Including 9 Members of a Family

At least 10 Palestinians, including nine members of a family, were killed and several others injured in an Israeli attack on the central Gaza Strip on Saturday.

The victims included a child and nine members of the Jahjouh family, including seven brothers, a woman, and a child.

According to medical sources, the Israeli forces targeted a house in the Nuseirat camp, resulting in the devastating loss of life.

The attack is the latest in a series of brutal assaults on Gaza since Hamas launched an attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.

Despite international condemnation and a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire, Israel has continued its military campaign against Gaza.

Over 38,000 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, and more than 87,000 others injured since the start of the conflict.

The war has left vast tracts of Gaza in ruins, with the region facing a crippling blockade of food, clean water, and medicine. The situation remains dire as humanitarian aid continues to be delayed or denied.

The international community has been criticized for its failure to act decisively to stop the violence and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The United Nations and human rights organizations have called for an immediate end to the Israeli attacks and for Israel to lift its blockade of Gaza.
