Iraq: Islamic Resistance targets Israeli Ramat David Airbase with drones, threatens more operations to support Gaza

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced on Friday that it attacked the Ramat David air base in the occupied Palestinian territories with drones as sign of solidarity with the People Palestine.

In a statement, it confirmed that it would continue “to destroy enemy strongholds” to complete the second phase of its operations and to “support our people in Gaza and Rafah.”

On Tuesday night, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the occupied city of Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat) with drones.

These operations were carried out in the context of the efforts made by fronts supporting the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip to tighten the noose on the Israeli occupation to pressure Israel to stop the genocide and allow the entry of aid.

The Islamic resistance in Iraq is considered an essential part of the supporting fronts from which the resistance axis is operating to confirm the unity of the arenas and prevent the occupation from singling out the Palestinian resistance and the people of Gaza.

With the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the resistance in Iraq began targeting US interests in Iraq and the region, in addition to targeting vital centres in the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to a report, in the continuation of Iraqi Resistance operations in support of Palestine, an Israeli airbase was targeted by drone attacks.

Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced in a statement that it conducted the drone attack on the Ramat David Airbase in northern occupied lands early Friday.

The statement said that it will continue to target the Zionist positions in response to the killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has conducted attacks on Israeli targets ever since the occupying regime started the genocidal war on Gaza in early October.

The Resistance has been also hitting American military bases in Iraq and neighboring Syria in retaliation for Washington’s support for the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

Israel has been waging an atrocious onslaught against the Gaza Strip, targeting hospitals, residences, and houses of worship after Palestinian Resistance movements launched a surprise attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, on October 7.

At least 37,124 Palestinians have been killed, most of them women and children. More than 1.7 million people have been internally displaced during the war as well.
