Two people were killed and 28 others were injured in the recent shooting at a block party in Baltimore United States, the latest deadly shooting occurring in the country, seems more like a manhunt is currently on rampage.
Acting Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley told reporters at the scene that the attack happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. local time on Sunday in the Brooklyn Homes neighborhood in the southern part of the city.
Three of the victims are in critical condition, and all of the victims were adults. Twenty more gunshot victims walked into nearby hospitals while nine were taken by ambulance, according to Worley.

An 18-year-old woman died at the scene, and a 20-year-old man was declared dead shortly after at a hospital.
According to a witness who spoke to TV station Fox 45, there were hundreds of people in the area for an event called “Brooklyn Day” and they also reported hearing 20 to 30 gunshots.
No one was taken into custody right away after the shooting. Worley stated that the investigation into the shooting’s motive and suspect identification was ongoing.

According to the Gun Violence Archive (GVA), the United States has the highest rate of gun deaths of any developed nation, with at least 44,357 in 2022, including 24,090 suicides. This is because there are more firearms than people living there.
According to the GVA, which classifies a “mass shooting” as a gun-related incident in which four or more people are injured or killed, Sunday’s shooting was at least the 337th to take place this year.
According to report, the violent incident happen to disapprove the level of security in the vicinity as federal prosecutors in Baltimore this week praised their initiatives to lower violent crime in the city.
However, this year’s homicide and shooting totals are down from this time last year at about 130 and 300, respectively, which was affirmed by the police.
