US Chicago Shooting, one killed 23 injured

In a mass shooting at a gathering in Chicago’s suburbs, at least one person has been killed and 23 others have been severely injured.

The Sunday shooting, as reported by US media, allegedly occurred in a parking lot in the village of Willowbrook, which is situated about 37 kilometers (23 miles) from Chicago.

Following the shooting, several injured people, including at least two who are critically injured, were taken to nearby hospitals with the others.

The police released a statement in which they claimed that “an unknown number of suspects fired multiple rounds from various weapons into the crowd.”
