Numerous thousands of Palestinians angry about the Israeli military’s most recent deadly incursion into Nablus, held midnight marches throughout the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem early on Friday morning, demanding retribution and sparking minor altercations with the brutal Israeli security forces in some locations.
The brutal Israeli military raid on the northern West Bank city of Nablus, which resulted in at least 11 Palestinian deaths and dozens of other injuries, has drawn widespread condemnation from thousands of people in the occupied West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip.

Following a call for demonstrations from the organization that seeks of defended Palestinians, Lion’s Den, demonstrators flocked to the streets in towns throughout the West Bank and Gaza, demonstrating an extraordinary display of support for the group in the face of the ongoing Israeli brutality.
The demonstrators held up photos of those killed in Israeli military raids on the cities of Nablus and East Quds, waved the national Palestinian flag, and chanted pro-resistance front slogans as they passed by the Jenin refugee camp.
In a show of support for the Lions’ Den group, demonstrators arrived on motorcycles or in cars, set tires on fire at intersections, and shouted loud “God is Great” chants.”
The Shuafat refugee camp in East al-Quds, the Dheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem, al-Khalil, Ramallah, and Nablus have all been praised for their residents’ presence.
The Lions’ Den organization had earlier urged Palestinians from all spheres of life to take part in force at the rallies.
In a statement, Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Hamas resistance movement based in Gaza, added that brave resistance fighters and common Palestinians will not allow anyone to douse the flames of the uprising in the West Bank.
In response to the massacre in Nablus, Haniyeh said, “We salute all proud Palestinians who came onto streets early on Friday to turn entire Palestinian territories into a den of lions.”
In addition, a young Palestinian man died from gunshot wounds received by an Israeli soldier during a raid in the occupied West Bank.
Muhammad Ismail Jawabreh, 22, passed away early on Friday, according to medical sources at the al-Ahli Hospital in the city of al-Khalil in the southern West Bank. They also noted that he was admitted to the hospital in critical condition because a bullet had entered his head.
During an Israeli army raid on the al-Arroub refugee camp on Thursday, clashes with Palestinian youth took place nearby, and Jawabreh was shot.
Under the guise of apprehending Palestinians who the regime refers to as “wanted,” Israeli forces conduct raids on cities throughout the occupied West Bank almost every day. Raids frequently result in attacks on residents, taking of lives, and destroying of properties.
Israel has increased its attacks on Palestinian towns and cities throughout the occupied territories over the past few months. Numerous Palestinians have been detained and dozens of them have died as a result of these attacks.
