A group of young persons have stormed the State House of Assembly, with victims’ corpses of on Tuesday’s attack in Yelwa Zangam village in Plateau State.
Recall that several people were reportedly killed on Tuesday at Yelwa Zangam in Jos-North Local Government Area.
According to the reports gathered, herdsmen invaded the community at the dead of night, leaving several people – mostly women and children dead.

The youths had stormed Plateau Specialist Hospital where the corpses of victims had been deposited and evacuated the corpses into vans.
After listening to the address by the Speaker of the House, who sued for calm, the youths proceeded to the Government House where the corpses of the victims were laid.
Authorities in Plateau have summoned an emergency Security Council meeting presided by the deputy governor, Professor Sonni Tyoden, to discuss the present situation in the state.
It was earlier reported that, the Chairman gave the warning on the heels of Tuesday night’s attack in Yelwa zangam in Jos North.
The Chairman described the killing as barbaric, inhuman and unacceptable, adding that he regrets the attack that happens when normalcy was being restored across Jos North.
He emphasized that his administration will not go back on his commitment to apprehend any person or group of persons suspected to be connected to the attacks.
He caution the inhabitants of the area not to take laws into their hands as the Government and security agencies are doing everything possible to bring the perpetrators to justice.
