A police bodycam video footage has been released showing police officers in the US state of Ohio dragging a paraplegic African American his hair out of the car after he clearly tells them that he is unable to leave the vehicle.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The incident took place during a traffic stop on Sept. 30, when Clifford Owensby, 39, told the cops about his condition, insisting that he does not want to be touched.<\/p>\n

The latest victim of US police brutality has filed a complaint with the Dayton NAACP chapter on the incident, which Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley has described as “concerning.”<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is why, immediately following this incident, the city released the body camera footage,” Whaley said in a statement to ABC News. “Everyone involved is owed a thorough investigation, and one is already underway. This incident shows why our community-led police reform process, which includes providing transparency, is more important than ever. The goal is always to ensure our police force has the resources to do its job while treating all of our citizens with dignity and respect.\u201d<\/p>\n

His white Audi was reportedly seen leaving a suspected drug house.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not talking about his past. We\u2019re not talking about the activity by which the officer was conducting the search or drug activity. We\u2019re talking about this incident and how the incident was handled,” said Derrick Foward, president of the Dayton Unit of the NAACP.<\/p>\n

The officers asked the victim multiple times to leave the vehicle for a K-9 officer to perform the free-air sniff.<\/p>\n
