Saudi: Soldier helps a child wear the Ihram in the Grand Mosque of Makkah

A video of a Saudi soldier helping a child to wear the Ihram in the Grand Mosque of Makkah has gone viral on social media platforms.

The clip showed the soldier wrapping the Ihram around the child in a wonderful and noble scene, while the child smiled at him.

The clip showed the soldier joking with the child after he wrapped the Ihram, and the latter exchanged a cheeky smile with him.

Social media users praised the soldier’s deed.

Abdullah Bin Walid Al-Ghailan commented on Twitter, “It is not surprising for the Saudis… May God reward him with goodness.”

Eijaz joked, “Now only I know how to wear Ihram.”

Saudi soldiers are known for their humble gestures for helping pilgrims in and Makkah and Madinah.

In 2022, a humane gesture by a security guard for a little girl praying at the Grand Mosque in Makkah won the hearts of millions of people.

The security guard saw the child praying under the sun, so he did his best to hold an umbrella to block the sun’s rays giving her some shade and relief from the heat.

The girl was seen greeting the guard after completing her prayers.

The girl’s identity is not known, but netizens have appealed to the authority to honour the man for his noble deeds.

There are many instances where soldiers have come forward to help pilgrims performs the rituals, some even carrying elderly on their shoulders to do the Tawaf.
